Description:
The Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund (CLIF) invites Harvard students, staff, faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and fellows to submit project ideas that foster a culture of belonging on campus. Grant awards range from $5,000 to $15,000, funded by the Office of the President and administered by the Office for Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
Your idea can span different topics and must identify a new solution or approach to address a critical challenge around diversity, equity, or inclusion at Harvard. Grants are awarded to teams that aim to have a direct impact on the University community, engage the broadest audience, and align with the University's goals toward inclusive excellence.

Eligibility Criteria:
Faculty and Staff:
Harvard University benefits-eligible staff and faculty are eligible to apply. All applicants must have a primary affiliation with Harvard University. Individuals from Harvard-affiliated hospitals and non-profit, independent corporations are not eligible as primary applicants and require teaming with a primary applicant at a Harvard University School or Unit to apply.
Benefits-eligible Harvard University administrative/professional, support or service and trades staff members are eligible to apply.
Primary, secondary, and adjunct faculty are eligible to apply.
Dual-role faculty's primary role should be with Harvard University.
Students, Postdoctoral Researchers, and Fellows:
Full-time degree seeking Harvard undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. All primary team members must be Harvard University affiliates.
Students must be enrolled for the duration of the funding period.
Harvard Postdoctoral Researchers and Fellows are eligible to apply. Individuals from Harvard-affiliated hospitals and non-profit, independent corporations are not eligible as primary applicants and require teaming with a primary applicant at a Harvard University School or Unit to apply.
Full-time appointment at Harvard University is required and the appointment must last the duration of the funding period if awarded.

Connection to Campus
- Directly impacts the Harvard University community and influences the University's trajectory toward sustainable inclusive excellence
Data
- Has measurable outcomes and attainable goals once implemented
Inclusive Design
- Applies inclusive design principles recommended by Harvard’s
Bok Center for Teaching and Learning
and
University Disability Resources
so that the proposed product, resource, or service is usable by as many different people as possible. Programs and activities must be open to everyone, and may not discriminate based on age, ancestry, caste, color, creed, disability, ethnicity, gender, genetic information, military service, national origin, political beliefs, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, and veteran status. Adherence to the

is required.
