The Michail Papamichail, MD, PhD, Postdoctoral Fellowship was established at Harvard Medical School to provide financial assistance for Greek national postdoctoral fellows pursuing basic biomedical research in the fields of cancer immunotherapy, cancer immunology, tumor biology/immunology. Eligible applicants must apply through the Office for Clinical and Academic Affairs, Foundation Funds Program.

Required materials:
1. Statement of interest and description of the basic biomedical research project in the fields of cancer immunotherapy, cancer immunology, tumor biology or immunology (Limit 2 pages. May include 1 additional page for references and figures. (Font size must be 11 points or larger and no more than six lines per inch.
2. Letter of nomination and commitment from sponsoring HMS faculty member.
· The mentors commitment to the successful implementation and execution of the proposed research project should be clearly stated in the letter of commitment.
· For applicants not already working at HMS, the letter of commitment must state that the applicant has been offered a postdoctoral position and the anticipated start date.

Eligible candidates:
1. Received a Ph.D. and or MD. degree between July 1, 2017 and September 1, 2022. (Applications for clinical research projects will not be accepted).
2. Research must be performed at a quad based or HMS affiliated hospital faculty member/department.
3. Must be a Greek national.
