The intent of the Grunebaum Foundation Faculty Fellowship is to provide support to independent junior faculty at Harvard medical School who exhibit a commitment to an academic career in cancer research.

The intent of the Grunebaum Foundation Faculty Fellowship is to provide support to independent junior faculty at Harvard medical School who exhibit a commitment to an academic career in cancer research. 


Application Information:

Applicants must submit the following as a single PDF:
  1. Nominating letter signed by your department or division head.
  2. A letter of interest describing your personal commitment to a career as a physician-scientist.
  3. A summary of your proposed research project (Limit 3 pages)
  4. CV or NIH Biosketch


Eligibility Criteria:

HMS Faculty at the affiliated hospitals must apply through the Foundation funds.
  1. Applicants must be within the first five years of their faculty appointment with a focused on basic or translational cancer research.
  2. Applicants must be independent research faculty at the time of application
  3. Faculty with R01 NIH or comparable funding are not eligible to apply.
  4. Applications for a second year extension may be considered.
