The Whiting Foundation invites nominations for two programs for 2019-202

  • The Whiting Public Engagement Seed Grant
  • The Whiting Public Engagement Fellowship

The following description and application link concerns The Whiting Public Engagement Seed Grant

The Seed Grant supports projects at an earlier stage of development than those eligible for the Fellowship Grant. Proposals for Seed Grant funding cannot be in the very first phase of development.
The work proposed should be at the stage where a compelling vision has been fleshed out, including a clear sense of whose collaboration will be required and the ultimate scope and expected outcomes of the final product.

Project proposers should be able to articulate specific short-term next steps required to advance the proposed project and understand the resources required to complete them.

Further information about the disciplines and types of projects that are eligible for funding are available within the Whiting Public Engagement Guidelines for Nominees and the Humanities Indicators Project
