Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM (CCE STEM) funds research projects that identify factors that are efficacious in the formation of ethical STEM researchers in all the fields of science and engineering that NSF supports. CCE STEM solicits proposals for research that explores the following: ‘What constitutes ethical STEM research and practice ? Which cultural and institutional contexts promote ethical STEM research and practice and why?'
Description:
Cultivating Cultures for Ethical STEM (CCE STEM) funds research projects that identify factors that are efficacious in the formation of ethical STEM researchers in all the fields of science and engineering that NSF supports. CCE STEM solicits proposals for research that explores the following: ‘What constitutes ethical STEM research and practice ? Which cultural and institutional contexts promote ethical STEM research and practice and why?'
Harvard University may put forward one proposal as the lead institution for this opportunity. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating the associated internal application and proposal selection process.
Application Information:
Interested applicants are asked to submit the following (this information will be repeated for applicants within the electronic application itself)
A response of not more than three pages outlining a response to the RFP that identifies the comparative dimension to be use, elaborates on how the the project will be approached, and what outcomes are envisioned at the conclusion of the of the project. Associated graphics, if relevant, may be placed on consecutive blank pages at the conclusion of the written proposal.
Current CV(s) of PI and Co-PI, if applicable
Applicants will also be asked to enter an estimate of the amount of funding requested, the planned project period, and the type of proposal being made: Standard or Institutional Transformation
