The DOE SC program in Advanced Scientific Computing Research is interested in receiving  basic research applications concerning the design, development, analysis, and scalability of randomized algorithms for the challenging and combinatorial problems that arise in the Department's energy, environmental, and national security mission areas.

In response to this call, Harvard University, as a single institution, may submit two, (2), required pre-applications to the sponsor. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal application and review process for eligible applicants.



Description:

Application Information:

Applicants are asked to submit the following (this information is repeated on each applicant's individual electronic dashboard)
  • PI Name & CV
  • Proposal title
  • Names, titles and affiliations of Collaborators and/or Co-PIs
  • Selection of one, or more, DOE defined Research Areas 
  • A clear and concise description of the objectives and technical approach of the proposed research
  • 2 pages, max., 11 point font minimum, 1 inch margins. Figures and references, if included, must fit within the two page limit
  • Total funding requested


Eligibility Criteria:

  • Harvard University, as the lead or as a sub-recipient, may submit up to two, (2), applications to this opportunity
  • A PI may appear on no more than one submitted pre-application or application, but there are no limits to a PI appearing as a senior or key personnel on separate submissions
