program. NSF 15-553 is focused only on the Scientific Software Innovation Institutes (S
2I2
) class of awards. Under this heading there are two award subclasses: Conceptualization Awards (typically one year) and Implementation Awards (up to five years) (there are a further 2 subcategories that fall under Implementation).
Harvard University, as one institution, may submit one proposal in each of the three areas available through this opportunity. The office of the Vice Provost for Research will facilitate an internal process in order to select proposals to go forward for consideration to the NSF.
Description:
