The Science and Technology Centers Integrative Partnerships program supports research and education projects that require large-scale, long-term awards. STCs should focus on creating new scientific paradigms, establishing new scientific disciplines and the development of transformative technologies.

Harvard University, as a single institution, is limited to submitting three (3) proposals to this opportunity. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal selection and review process for those interested in applying.

The Science and Technology Centers Integrative Partnerships program supports research and education projects that require large-scale, long-term awards. STCs should focus on creating new scientific paradigms, establishing new scientific disciplines and the development of transformative technologies.

Science and Technology Centers should be able to do world class research through partnerships with institutions of higher education, national laboratories, industrial organizations, and other public and private entities via international collaborations, as appropriate.

Proposed STC annual budgets may range up to $5.M per year.

Application Information:

Applicants are asked to submit the following (this information will appear again on the applicant's dashboard)
  • Project Summary- Two page maximum, 11 point font minimum. Provide an overview of the proposed SCT. Separately address the intellectual merit and broader impacts of the proposed center. The summary should be informative to those working in the same or related fields and understandable to a broad audience within the scientific domain
  • CV of the PI, and Co-PI, if applicable. No preferred format.
