Brief Description:
This opportunity seeks to augment the
four regional BD Hubs
and existing BD Spokes by establishing a series of additional BD Spokes. Each "Spoke" must work in close concert with their corresponding regional BD Hub to formulate their research agendas and plan their activities.
Harvard University, as a single institution, is limited to submitting one proposal as the lead, or submitting organization, if the effort is collaborative. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal application process for interested applicants.

Harvard University, as a single institution, is limited to submitting one proposal as the lead, or submitting organization, if the effort is collaborative. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating the internal application process for interested applicants.
There are two award types available: Small and Medium.
Small awards will have total budgets (including indirect costs) from $100,000 to $500,000 over a period of up to three (3) years. Small awards are intended for collaborative projects, involving multiple institutions.
Medium awards will have total budgets (including indirect costs) from $500,001 to $1,000,000 over a period of up to three (3) years. Medium awards must deliver tangible outcomes.
Application Information:
Applicants are asked to submit a letter of intent and CVs of the principal investigator(s).
Eligibility Criteria:
While there are no restrictions on who may be a PI, a PI or Co-PI may only participate in one proposal submitted to the NSF.
