Harvard University, as one institution, is limited to submitting one application to this opportunity. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal competition to solicit and select a proposal for nomination.

The Boston Scientific Foundation STEM Education award focuses on improving STEM educational opportunities and academic development for K-12 students who are economically disadvantaged.
Harvard University, as one institution, is limited to submitting one application to this opportunity. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating an internal competition to solicit and select a proposal for nomination.
Awards are to benefit STEM education programs in economically disadvantaged school systems.
The Boston Foundation defines economically disadvantaged education programs as programs with
Minimum of 50% of program participants at 185% of poverty or lower OR
Funding directed to participants at 185% of poverty or lower
Application Information:
Applicants are asked to submit the following (this information will be repeated on the applicant's dashboard)
Please describe how grant funds will be used. Describe broadly how an award would be used (program materials, license fees, staff equipment, etc.) Include allocation of funds (not just additional program descriptions) Include objectives and implementation plans and timeline (350 words or less)
