Brief Description:

USAID, in collaboration with UNICEF, is requesting concept papers from qualified local and international organizations (referred to as an "Applicant" from here on in) with the goal of supporting governments and their key partners to achieve and sustain effective coverage of high impact health and nutrition technical interventions at scale. 
Harvard University, as one institution, may put forward one concept paper for each USAID review window. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating the internal process for the sponsor's 2/5/16 review deadline.


Description:

USAID, in collaboration with UNICEF, is requesting concept papers from qualified local and international organizations with the goal of supporting governments and their key partners to achieve and sustain effective coverage of high impact health and nutrition technical interventions at scale. 
Harvard University, as one institution, may put forward one concept paper for each USAID review window. The Office of the Vice Provost for Research is facilitating the internal process for the sponsor's 2/5/16 review deadline.

USAID seeks to make awards to organizations and/or partnerships that have concrete assets for advancing community health with national and local policies and implementation plans. Concept papers may be submitted that build on previous agreements with USG or other resource partners, or are new concepts.

Applicants must propose a minimum cost of 25% of the projected USAID funded amount.


Application Information:

Internal applicants are asked to submit a modified version of the Concept Paper requested by the sponsor and include the following information (this information will be repeated for the applicant on the applicant dashboard)

As part of the application process applicants will be asked to type in answers to the following questions:
  • Title of Project
  • Country(ies) of focus
  • PI Name, name of Co-PI, if applicable
  • Names of proposed major sub-recipients and types of organizations (for profit, non profit, university, network etc.)
Program Proposal: Three pages, max. 10 pt. font minimum. Associated graphics should be placed on consecutive blank pages after the written work. Outline proposed project and expected outcomes

CV(s): of PI, and Co-PI, if applicable. No specified format for the CVS

Estimated Cost Summary: Complete the template provided within the applicant dashboard. It is understood that the numbers provided are estimated and not binding at this time



Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants must proposed a minimum cost share of 25% of the projected USAID funded amount.
